The
Sportsmen’s Club of Fort Worth is a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization which devotes its
resources to outdoor and wildlife charitable and
educational activities with an emphasis on serving
area youth and youth organizations. The purpose of
the Club is to (a) encourage conservation of
wildlife and good sportsmanship and safety in
hunting, fishing and related activities, and (b)
encourage and develop in youth an appreciation and
enjoyment of wildlife and the outdoors, including
supporting youth involvement in hunting, fishing,
wildlife conservation and related activities.
<Click Here> for more information about the Club,
the various groups that it supports and the Club’s
other activities.
The
Club relies exclusively on donations from private
businesses and individuals and on the
net proceeds from the Club’s annual fund-raising
banquet. Although the Club does receive
(and gladly accepts) cash donations, the majority
of the donations that the Club receives are in
the form of gifts that are sold at the Club’s
fundraising banquet in a live or silent auction or
raffled. Last year the Club received
approximately 200 of such donations ranging from
hunting and fishing trips (locally and around the
world), to meals, hunting and fishing accessories,
dogs, sports memorabilia, etc. <Click Here> to see the program dinner for the Clubs 2007 game banquet for a partial list of items donated to the Club in 2007. Donations are graciously welcomed and necessary for the Club to continue its mission. Click here for the
